PROTOCOL EXTENDING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE INTERNATIONAL ATOMIC ENERGY AGENCY,THE GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FOR THE APPLICATION OF SAFEGUARDS BY THE AGENCY TO THE BILATERAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THOSE GOVERNMENTS CONCERNING CIVIL USES OF ATOMIC ENERGY

The International Atomic Energy Agency, the Government of Japan and the government of the United States of America agree to extend the Agreement between the International Atomic Energy Agency, the government of Japan and the Government of the United States of America for the Application of Safeguards by the Agency to the Bilateral Agreement between those Governments concerning Civil Uses of Atomic Energy, signed on 23 September 1963, for a period of one year from 1 November 1967 to 31 October 1968.
