(On the content of the meeting of the five relevant ministers, etc.)

We have just held a meeting of the relevant ministers and discussed the handling of the declaration of a state of emergency and priority measures to prevent the spread of disease, which will be effective until the 20th. Regarding the handling of each prefecture, we decided to hear the opinions from the experts tomorrow and then make decisions.

In addition, it is true that the number of new infections nationwide has been on a decreasing trend. However, it is also the case that such a trend has slowed down in some areas. We will continue efforts to thoroughly implement preventive measures against infection in each region and proceed with vaccinations to prevent the spread of infection.
