(On the handling of the declaration of a state of emergency)

A short while ago, we held a meeting of relevant ministers to discuss primarily the declaration of a state of emergency, which is due to expire at the end of this month.

The number of new coronavirus infection cases has significantly dropped, and our understanding is that the situation is improving.

Under such circumstances, we plan to consult with the experts committee tomorrow over the handling of the of the declaration of a state of emergency, among other things. Based on the policy to be adopted at the committee, the Government will make a final decision.

We will remain highly vigilant as we gradually ease restrictions on dining and drinking establishments. We plan to consult with the advisory committee tomorrow over the details. Thank you.
