(On the media reports that the Government plans to start releasing ALPS (Advanced Liquid Processing System) Treated Water into the sea late August or early September)

I have so far stated that we will start releasing ALPS treated water into the sea sometime between spring and summer this year. There is no change to this plan. We are currently offering detailed explanations both at home and overseas, and regarding specifically when to start the release and what processes to be followed, we have not decided on any scheduling that some media reports have shown. In particular, we recognize that relations of trust have been deepened little by little with those in the fisheries industry by repeatedly conducting dialogue with local communities, primarily under the initiative of Mr. NISHIMURA Yasutoshi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. The entire Government will continue to provide detailed explanations regarding ways to ensure safety and countermeasures against reputational damage.
