Today, the H-IIA F39 rocket was launched from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) Tanegashima Space Center, with the intelligence-gathering satellite it carried, IGS Radar 6, entering its designated orbit.

The government will make the greatest possible use of IGS Radar 6 and other intelligence-gathering satellites and continue to take all possible measures to ensure Japan's security and enhance its crisis management.
