Earlier today, the H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 46 (H-IIA F46) rocket was launched from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) Tanegashima Space Center, with the intelligence-gathering satellite it carried, IGS-Radar 7, entering its designated orbit.

The Government will make the greatest possible use of IGS-Radar 7 and other intelligence-gathering satellites and continue to take all possible measures to ensure Japan's security and crisis management.
