On behalf of the Government and people of Japan, I would like to express my sincere condolences to Your Majesty, the Government and people of the Sultanate of Oman for the immense damage and number of casualties that were caused by the floods that have recently occurred in your country.

I sincerely hope for the quick recovery of those who are affected as well as for the prompt reconstruction of the affected areas.
